Refund policy

New services come with a 7-day money-back guarantee. Here is what it covers and how to use it.

Last updated 7 October 2026

New VPS and web hosting services come with a 7-day money-back guarantee. Cancel within 7 days of the first payment and we will refund the service fee in full, no reason needed.

1. What the guarantee covers

The guarantee applies to the first payment on a new VPS or web hosting service. Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually arrive within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or processor.

These are not refundable:

  • Third-party license fees, such as cPanel, Windows, or Softaculous
  • Setup fees and other one-time charges
  • Renewal payments on existing services
  • Payments made in cryptocurrency
  • Services terminated for breaking our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use and Abuse Policy

We may decline refunds for accounts that repeatedly order and refund services.

2. How to request a refund

Use either method within the 7-day window:

  1. Cancel the service in the client area, choosing immediate cancellation.
  2. Open a billing ticket with your invoice number.

Immediate cancellation terminates the service and deletes its data at once. Download anything you need first.

3. After 7 days

Once the guarantee window closes, you may still cancel immediately and receive a prorated credit for unused time to your account balance. Account credit can be used for any Rogue Wave service and is not paid out as cash, except where the law requires.

4. Chargebacks

Please open a ticket before disputing a charge with your bank. See Disputes and chargebacks in the Terms of Service.

5. Questions

If you are not sure whether a refund applies, open a ticket and we will help.
